Bandos Island Resort
Bandos is a beautiful coral island with all the facilities and services a large island close to Male’ and the airport is expected to have, ensuring that your stay is both comfortable and memorable. The island has been rebuilt in 2005, with state of the art architectural designs blending perfectly with the tropical surrounding and still maintaining the “local feel”.
Location: In North Male’ Atoll and it takes a short ride of 20 minutes by speed boat from the airport.
Accommodation
All the 225 spacious and airy rooms provide the comfort of modern living, featuring tiled floor, mini bar, IDD telephone, air-conditioning, beach beds with beach chairs, bathroom with shower, satellite television, tea/coffee making facilities and electronic safety deposit box.
Room Categories
- 103 Standard Rooms: on the southern side of the island, 84 rooms are beach-fronted, and in blocks of four rooms adjacent to each other.
- 48 Junior Suites: are all beach-fronted and in blocks of two rooms each with inter-connecting doors, with sitting/living area.
- 24 Garden Villas: in the middle of the island, facing the landscaped gardens and the newly built swimming pool. These are full wooden chalets with private patio and are elegantly furnished.
- 48 Beach Villas: newly built on the northern side of the island and designed in loft type individual units with living room, bathroom, and Jacuzzi on the ground floor and the bed room is located upstairs with a private balcony overlooking the azure lagoon.
- 2 Water Villas: on stilts over the azure lagoon, luxurious and spacious, designed with utmost care to ensure comfort and privacy for its residents. Living room leading to the large private sundeck with sun lounges.

The Harbour
Dine with style in the newly built and elegantly designed fine dining restaurant, whether indoors or on the open air over water deck. The Harbour specialises in the best of Maldivian fish, a large variety of seafood, home-made pasta and a selection of tender steaks char grilled to your taste.
Gallery Restaurant
This is the main restaurant of Bandos Island Resort and serves international buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Coffee Shop
True to its name, Sea Breeze Café has been built right at the edge of the water with an open air over water deck and an amazing view of the sea. It is open 24 hours and offers ranging from snacks, Spaghetti Bolognaise, variety of pizza to authentic Indian Curry.
