Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru
The Resort is a stunning paradise hideaway where luxurious seclusion meets wild natural beauty. This verdant, beach-fringed coral island embraces both idyllic, away-from-it-all retreat and sophisticated pleasures on land and water – from genuine ayurvedic healing in the spa to splashing, sailing or diving in the jewel-like waters. This resort is new to the Maldives and will open in winter 2006.
Location: The island of Landaa Giraavaru is in the Baa Atoll of the Maldives. The Resort is 30 minutes by seaplane or 75 miles/ 120 km from the Male Airport (on the island of Hulhule).
Accommodation
The Resort comprises 102 thatched beach bungalows and water villas with each residential domain in its own self-contained compound surrounded by luxuriant foliage guaranteeing total privacy. All bungalows are equipped with high-speed internet access, digital telephone, 42 inch plasma TV and DVD system hair dryer, pure cotton robes and slippers, and superior quality bath toiletries, In-room safes, air conditioning, overhead fans and private bar.

Café Landaa
This all-day dining restaurant, overlooks the swimming pool and beach. For breakfast, guests can look forward to exotic fruits and juices, freshly baked pastries and a home-style buffet set-up of Asian and Continental selections. For lunch and dinner, feast on the freshest haul from the ocean cooked in various interesting styles.
The Sushi and Teppanyaki counter,
located in a dramatic water garden setting of the restaurant, provides an authentic Japanese dining experience.
Al Barakat
Featuring specialties from Arabian countries, with an emphasis on Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese mezze, grills, Moroccan couscous platters and stews are served under a canopy of stars. After dessert, guests can move down to the bar to enjoy Arabic tea, Turkish coffee and Shisha pipes.
Blu
The restaurant offers a European buffet and a la carte main courses for breakfast, light Antipasti, pizza and pasta for lunch, home-made gelati at the poolside nearby and elegant Italian dining in the evening. The wine list includes a fine selection of Italian wines.
Barbecue Giraavaru
Barbecue Giraavaru is open for dinner, serving fresh catch of the day as well as meats, salads and side dishes from an open kitchen pavilion.
