Nika Island Resort
Nika is a dhivehi name for shell and for the "Banyan Tree's". The shell is their emblem and the resort is named after the tree. An enormous banyan tree grows in the middle of this island paradise, clearly visible from out at sea. With only one path around the inside of the island behind the bungalows, privacy is pretty much guaranteed. With a careful growth of bushes and trees, one is unable to see the neighbouring bungalows, but still enjoys the view of crystal clear lagoons and sandy white beaches.
Location: North Ari atoll, just 25 minutes by seaplane from Male international airport.

The rooms were designed, like the whole island, by an Italian Architect. They are undoubtedly a unique concept with privacy and harmony in mind. With spectacular surroundings you can here the oceans lapping the shore as you lye in bed undisturbed .
